Immortal Joysticks USB Adapter. This adapter has been designed specifically for use with Immortal Joysticks to allow you to use them on modern systems. The adapter features:
- DB9 input
- USB-C output
- Compatible with A500 mini, Windows, Mac, Linux, Raspberry Pi and more
- Will support most other DB9 Atari Standard joysticks
** PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING A CABLE THAT CARRIES A DATA SIGNAL. A CHARGING CABLE WILL NOT WORK. **
The adapter is compatible with the A500 mini straight out of the box and does not require any additional setup, just plug it in and start playing. It also features a Home button to allow you to exit games and start WHDLoad games without the need to plug in the original gamepad.
Unlike other USB adapters on the market, the Immortal Joysticks USB Adapter has been designed to mimic how original Amiga hardware reads the joystick pins. This means that the autofire on the joystick will function correctly, at its full speed, even over USB.
The adapter can be purchased as an uncased PCB, in a durable metal enclosure or in a 3D printed case. If you have a printer you can download a free enclosure STL file here which you can print yourself.
